The foodbank is open Tuesday to Friday each week (excluding public holidays). However, there will be differences across organisations. It is best to check directly with your closet foodbank partner. To see the list, please click here!

You will need to contact your closest foodbank partner (see these here), they will gather some information, and complete a request. This request will then be processed by our team, but all direct communication happens between yourself and the organisation you are working with.

You will need to show evidence that you have been declined by WINZ/MSD for food support. The foodbank should be the last stop in the food support network, and MSD have a role to play first, before we can offer help. The organisation that you are working with, can advise you on how to complete this process

We can provide up to 10 parcels per year. However, after 2 parcels you will need to visit a financial mentor and/or budget advisor before we can continue to supply food.

Our food parcels are intended to provide food for three days and are then sized by the number of people/size of whaanau applying

Whilst we try our best to accommodate various dietary needs, it can often prove difficult. This is often directly impacted by what stock we have available to us. If you do have specific dietary needs, then please discuss this with the organisation that is supporting you.

Of course you can! We warmly welcome donations of food. It is best to contact your nearest foodbank partner to arrange a drop-off or request a pick-up, you can find our full list of partners here.
